About Me

“No person has the right to rain on your dreams.”

I'm a PhD student, a teacher, a lover of learning and life.  I'm an avid traveler having explored over 45 countries and have lived now in five.

I've been a student, an educator or a researcher on three continents serving some of the richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor.  I love life and am indebted to those who have made it fulfilling.  I am grateful for all the open doors that awaited me and have been determined to pry open others when it seemed impossible.

I aspire to be a compassionate researcher whose work can truly make a difference in individual people's lives.  I want the doors of opportunity to be opened for all people and hope my work will also help them pry open those that may at first seem stuck.  I wish all young people have the ability to live their dreams and find fulfillment, safety, acceptance and love in their lives.

I'm not good at keeping up a blog but I will certainly try my best.
Take a journey with me this year through Uganda!
